This thesis mainly deals with synthesis and reactions of iron-chalcogenolate- complexes with low coordinations numbers. Most of the results are in accordance to a general scheme concerning the reactivity of complexes of the [M4(SR)4]-type, which is presented here. Starting from Iron(II)-bis(trimethylsilyl)amide two new complexes of the [Fe2(ER)4]-type were synthesized, in which iron is coordinated in a distorted trigonally way. A great number of new compounds and classes of compounds could be synthesized by the reaction of Iron(II)-2,6-bis(trimethylsilyl)thiophenolate with different donor molecules.
