The present study was conducted to investigate the existence of a possible relation between multiple intelligences (MI) and language learning strategies (LLSs), and to find out whether explicit instruction in LLSs was beneficial for students. The instruments used to gather results were a MI test and the SILL (Strategy Inventory for Language Learning. Version for Speakers of Other Languages Learning English) to analyze the relation between MI and LLSs, and a pre test, two immediate post tests and a delayed post test to study the effectiveness of strategy use. The results revealed a correlation between MI and LLSs, and benefits in the explicit instruction of LLSs for vocabulary learningMáster Universitario en Profesorado de Educación S...
