ABSTRACT This research was conducted at the ASN Competency Assessment Unit (UPENKOM) BKD Central Java Province. The problem of this research was that the implementation of ASN competency assessment in supporting the merit system has not been optimally carried out. The purpose of this study was to describe and analyze the implementation of ASN competency assessment in supporting the merit of the system and its inhibiting and supporting factors. Type of this study was qualitative descriptive research. The focus on this research was on the implementation of the ASN competency assessment.
