EL BÉISBOL 5 COMO JUEGO ALTERNATIVO PARA INCREMENTAR LA MOTIVACIÓN EN LAS CLASES DE EDUCACIÓN FÍSICA Y EL DEPORTE UNIVERSITARIO

The research is framed in the process of motivating the study in its relationship with university sports, through the practice of Baseball 5 as an alternative sport in Physical Education classes. The objective is to promote sports in the house of high studies, not only with a view to university games, as is currently the case at the "José Martí Pérez" University of Sancti Spíritus, but by ensuring that it is practiced throughout the school year and thus contribute a better quality of life. The main methods used were the survey, document analysis and expert criteria. The results achieved allow the use of this sport as a means of motivation in Physical Education classes, as well as the possibility of offering teachers a program for their introduction with university students, contemplating a novel variant in our country in this area, taking into account The limitations of resources and previous training of the students who arrive at our universities.  La investigación está enmarcada en el proceso de motivación del estudiantado en su vinculación con el deporte universitario, a través de la práctica del Béisbol 5 como deporte alternativo en las clases de la Educación Física. El objetivo es promover el deporte en la casa de altos estudios, no solo con vista a los juegos universitarios, como ocurre en la actualidad en la Universidad “José Martí Pérez” de Sancti Spíritus, sino logrando que se practique durante todo el curso escolar y así contribuir una mejor calidad de vida. Los principales métodos utilizados fueron la encuesta, el análisis de documento y el criterio de experto. Los resultados alcanzados permiten utilizar este deporte como medio de motivación en las clases de Educación Física, así como la posibilidad de ofrecer a los profesores un programa para su introducción con alumnos universitarios, contemplando una variante novedosa en nuestro país en esta esfera, teniendo en cuenta las limitaciones de recursos y formación precedente de los educandos que arriban a nuestras universidades
