LA ENSEÑANZA-APRENDIZAJE EN LA EDUCACIÓN SUPERIOR: APORTACIONES DESDE NEURODIDÁCTICA

"The teaching-learning in Higher Education: contributions from Neurodidactics" is a research aimed at describing how the advances of neurosciences can be favorably applied to the teaching-learning process of Universities. For this, the article is based on the Documentary Bibliographic Method, the review and systematization of theoretical and empirical investigations allowed to conclude that Neurodidactics is a very useful tool for teachers that must face the classroom in a globalized world, where the technologies of Information and communications increasingly influence how knowledge is constructed and thought is elaborated. Active learning is possible if teachers start by knowing the particularities of the student body, which are the methodologies and learning styles that they most frequently use; which activities motivate your attention and concentration, and which do not. It is important to plan the classes based on the talents and differentiated potential of the students, and also taking into account the cognitive objectives that they intend to achieve, based on the stimulation of the emotions. It is essential to avoid stress in the classroom and encourage teamwork, as this generates greater confidence in students about their cognitive strengths. Finally, the systematic nature of the evaluations will provide teachers with information, through which to redesign the activities that best stimulate students' meaningful learning.“La enseñanza-aprendizaje en la Educación Superior: aportaciones desde Neurodidáctica” constituye una investigación dirigida a describir cómo los avances de las neurociencias pueden aplicarse favorablemente al proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las Universidades. Para ello, el artículo se basa en el Método Bibliográfico Documental, la revisión y sistematización de investigaciones teóricas y empíricas permitieron concluir que la Neurodidáctica constituye una herramienta de gran utilidad para el profesorado que debe enfrentar el aula en un mundo globalizado, donde las tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones cada vez influyen más en cómo se construye el conocimiento y se elabora el pensamiento. El aprendizaje activo es posible si los docentes comienzan por conocer las particularidades del estudiantado, cuáles son las metodologías y estilos de aprendizaje que más frecuentemente emplean; qué actividades motivan su atención y concentración, y cuáles no. Es importante la planeación de las clases en base a los talentos y potencialidades diferenciados de los estudiantes, y también teniendo en cuenta los objetivos cognitivos que pretende alcanzar, a partir de la estimulación de las emociones. Resulta imprescindible evitar el estrés en el aula y fomentar el trabajo en equipo, pues ello genera mayor confianza en el alumnado sobre sus fortalezas cognitivas. Por último, la sistematicidad de las evaluaciones proveerá a los docentes de información, mediante la cual rediseñar las actividades que mejor estimulen el aprendizaje significativo de los estudiantes
