LAS TUTORÍAS UNIVERSITARIAS COMO FORTALECIMIENTO AL CURRÍCULO PRE-PROFESIONAL DE LOS ESTUDIANTES DE LA EDUCACIÓN GENERAL BÁSICA

The present research is addressed at the Technical University of Manabí with the participation of the authorities of the institution, teachers and students of the School of General Basic Education with the purpose of investigating university tutoring as a strengthening of the professional curriculum and its incidence. University tutoring in student learning. However, it was necessary to know the perception of teachers and students about the need to attend university tutorials, in addition to identifying the qualities of the university tutor for the good development of learning in students, therefore, the strengths were analyzed. and weaknesses of the university tutorials, as well as the proposals to improve them. Therefore, the study was justified because it has theoretical knowledge, social relevance and the benefits it generates. Type of bibliographical and field study, as well as adequate techniques for this investigative process, were addressed. Finally, the academic process allowed to conclude that the participation of students in university tutorials is poor and knowledge about it is scarce, because they are not yet organized in an adequate manner and do not meet the needs of all those involved, In terms of teachers, the vast majority have social skills, are tolerant, know how to listen and guide students in their personal, academic and professional development.  La presente investigación se aborda en la Universidad Técnica de Manabí con la participación de las autoridades de la institución, docentes y estudiantes de la Escuela de Educación General Básica con el propósito de investigar las tutorías universitarias como fortalecimiento al currículo profesional y su incidencia que tienen las tutorías universitarias en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Sin embargo, fue necesario conocer la percepción de los docentes y estudiantes sobre la necesidad de asistir a las tutorías universitarias, además de identificar las cualidades del docente tutor universitario para el buen desarrollo del aprendizaje en los estudiantes, por lo tanto, se analizaron las fortalezas y debilidades de las tutorías universitarias, así como las propuestas para mejorar las mismas. Por consiguiente, el estudio se justificó por cuanto posee conocimientos teóricos, relevancia social y por los beneficios que genera. Se abordó tipo de estudio bibliográfico y de campo, así como técnicas adecuadas para este proceso investigativo. Finalmente, el proceso académico permitió concluir, que la participación de los estudiantes en las tutorías universitarias es pobre y el conocimiento acerca de la misma es escaso, debido a que aún no están organizadas de modo adecuado y no satisfacen las necesidades de todos los implicados, en cuanto a los docentes la gran mayoría poseen habilidades sociales, son tolerantes, saben escuchar y orientan a los estudiantes en cuanto su desarrollo personal, académico y proyección profesional
