EL TEXTO PERIODÍSTICO: RETOS Y PERSPECTIVAS EN LA FORMACIÓN DE ESTUDIANTES UNIVERSITARIOS

The present article deals with the theoretical and methodological grounds that allow the university teacher to offer a suitable treatment to the journalistic text. This perspective contributes to the appropriation of a set of actual knowledge, which is distinctive of the different texts that are analyzed, when we assume that the typology integrates the characteristics of the type of text, the purpose, the key generic words and the expressiveness. It also contributes to overcome the difficulties referred to in the analysis of the reading, and with that we can achieve a reflexive-affective implication depending on the nature of the text, without reaching a critical or self-critical position when we face certain forms of expression. The experience has had the purpose of developing reading basic competencies and it thus contributes to the training as competent communicators. This assures the cultural training of the personality. The cognitive growth will be systematized and deepened, from the practice of procedures of reading that facilitates the search and the comprehension of the information corresponding to this functional style, in accordance with the communicative requirements of contemporary society.  El artículo que se presenta refiere los sustentos teóricos y metodológicos que permiten al docente universitario ofrecer un adecuado tratamiento al texto periodístico, perspectiva que contribuye a la apropiación de un conjunto de conocimientos reales, distintivos de los diferentes textos que se analizan, al asumir que la tipología integra las características del tipo de texto, la intencionalidad, palabras claves genéricas y la expresividad. Se contribuye además, a superar las dificultades referidas al análisis de la lectura, y con ello lograr una implicación reflexivo – afectiva en dependencia de la naturaleza del texto, sin alcanzar una posición crítica y autocrítica frente a determinadas formas de expresión. La experiencia ha tenido la finalidad de desarrollar competencias lectoras básicas y de este modo contribuir a su formación como comunicadores competentes; lo que asegura la formación cultural de la personalidad, su crecimiento cognoscitivo que será sistematizado y profundizado, a partir de la práctica de procedimientos de lectura que faciliten la búsqueda y la comprensión de la información correspondientes a este estilo funcional, en correspondencia con las exigencias comunicativas de la sociedad contemporánea
