The advancements in simulation technologies during the last decade have made it possible to create more and more accurate simulation models for manufacturing industry. Now these simulations can be even used to create accurate manufacturing programs and tasks for industrial robots using offline programming. However, adapting offline programming in a factory environment requires a precise calibration process to match the various offsets between components in the real-world and in the simulation.
