Present study is an attempt to assess the competency level of entrepreneurs belonging to handloom, manufacturing and agricultural processing units. Competency level as regards to administration, marketing, financial management, raw materials management and liaising capabilities are assessed. Data were collected from the entrepreneurs belonging to handloom, manufacturing and agricultural processing units. Questionnaire method was used to collect data. 150 respondents (fifty from each category) were contacted and requested to f i l l up the questionnaires.
