Sularda bulunan bazı hormon bozucuların ileri analitik yöntemlerle tayini ve polimer adsorbanlarla giderilmesi

Endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) in food, water, and soil has been problem in worldwide. Endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs) are active even at low concentrations and they disturb hormone activities in mammals. It is known that endocrine disrupting compounds can expose to human via food, soil, water or air, by the way of ingestion, dermal absorption and inhalation. The impacts of exposure to endocrine disrupting compounds in the environment have been increased, especially over the last 2 decades. In this study, determination of some EDCs (2,4-dichloro phenol, triclosan, estrone, 17-β-estradiol, clofibrate methyl ester, 2,3,4-trichloro phenol, 17-α-ethinylestradiol, clofibric acid, clofibrate, carbamazepine, phthalates (DEP and DMP)) in water by using advanced analytical techniques (GC/MS coupled with solid-phase micro-extraction (SPME) and solid-phase extraction methods) and uv-vis spectrophotometer was studied. Also, removal of some EDCs (triclosan, 2,4-dichloro phenol, 2,3,4-trichloro phenol, estrone, 17-β-estradiol, 17-α-ethinylestradiol, clofibric acid, clofibrate, clofibrate methyl ester, carbamazepine) from water using highly cross-linked polymeric adsorbents (Diaion SP207 (Mitsubishi Chem), Diaion SP825 (Mitsubishi Chem) and Dowex L493 (Dow Chem)) was investigated. For removal of phthalates (DEP and DMP), batch adsorption tests, isotherm tests, kinetic tests (using highly cross-linked polymeric adsorbents PAD400 (Purolite International Limited), (Diaion SP207 (Mitsubishi Chem), Diaion SP825 (Mitsubishi Chem) and Dowex L493 (Dow Chem)) were performed. Isotherm test data were evaluated using Freundlich, Langmuir and Temkin isotherm models. The kinetic results obtained were evaluated using pseudo first-second order and diffusional kinetic models. Adsorption-membrane filtration hybrid tests using Dowex L493 (Dow Chem) were performed for DEP and DMP removal. In these studies, some parameters such as effect of adsorbent amount, effect of rate of replacement of saturated and fresh adsorbent, effect of flow rate of permeate and feed and effect of adsorbent particle size were investigated. To decrease of DMP and DEP concentration 4 g/L adsorbent is determined as an optimum amount. From the results it can be said that DMP and DEP removal was higher by using higher amount of adsorbent. However, it showed that when the rate of saturated and fresh adsorbent replacement was increased or when the flow rate of permeate and feed was decreased, DMP and DEP concentration was decreased.Hormon bozucu bileşikler (EDCs), gıda, su ve toprakta dünya çapında bir sorun haline gelmiştir. Hormon bozucu bileşikler (EDCs) düşük derişimlerde aktiftirler ve hormonların faaliyetlerini bozmaktadırlar. İnsanlar hormon bozucu bileşiklere, diğer çevresel kirleticilerde olduğu gibi, su, hava, toprak ya da gıda yoluyla, ağızdan, soluma ve deriden emilim yoluyla maruz kalabilirler. Son 20 yılda, hormon bozucu etkileri konusunda bazı kimyasal bileşiklere karşı duyulan endişe artmaktadır. Bu tez çalışmasında, bazı hormon bozucu bileşiklerin (triklosan, 2,4 dikloro fenol, 2,3,4 trikloro fenol, estron, 17β-estradiol, 17-α-etinil estradiol, clofibrik asit, klofibret, klofibret metil ester, karbamazepin, ftalatlar (DEP ve DMP)) ileri analitik yöntemlerle (Katı faza özütleme (SPE) ile GC/MS ve Katı faza mikro-özütleme (SPME) ile GC/MS) ve uv-vis spektrometre ile tayinleri incelenmiştir. Ayrıca, bazı hormon bozucu bileşiklerin (triklosan, 2,4 dikloro fenol, 2,3,4 trikloro fenol, estron, 17β-estradiol, 17-α-etinil estradiol, clofibrik asit, klofibret, klofibret metil ester, karbamazepin) yüksek çapraz bağlı polimerik adsorbanlarla (Diaion SP207 (Mitsubishi Chem), Diaion SP825 (Mitsubishi Chem) ve Dowex L493 (Dow Chem)) giderimleri araştırılmıştır. Ftalatların (DEP ve DMP) giderimleri için yüksek çapraz bağlı adsorbanlar (PAD400 (Purolite International Limited), (Diaion SP207 (Mitsubishi Chem), Diaion SP825 (Mitsubishi Chem) and Dowex L493 (Dow Chem)) kullanılarak kesikli adsorpsiyon çalışmaları, izoterm ve kinetik çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Elde edilen izoterm test sonuçlarının Freundlich, Langmuir ve Temkin izoterm modellerine uygunluğu incelenmiştir. Kinetik çalışma sonuçları kullanılarak 1. ve 2. mertebe kinetik modelleri ve difüzyon kinetik modellerine uyum incelenmiştir. DEP ve DMP giderimi için DowexL493 adsorbanı ile adsorpsiyon-membran filtrasyon hibrit çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Çalışmalarda adsorban miktarı, doygun ve taze adsorbanın yer değiştirme hızı, besleme ve süzüntü akış hızı ve adsorban tanecik boyutunun etkisi gibi parametreler incelenmiştir
