Dış ortamda koşullarında yetiştirilen tatlı sorgum üzerine iki ayrı saksı çalışması yürütülmüştür. Birinci denemede, farklı azot ve potasyum seviyelerinin biyokütle ve etanol verimi, ikinci deneme ise farklı azot ve fosfor seviyelerinin tatlı sorgum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench var. saccharatum) (Keller çeşidi) bitkisinde tane özellikleri üzerine etkilerini saptamak amacıyla yürütülmüştür. Denemeler, 2013 ve 2014 yıllarının yaz yetişme döneminde, Ege Üniversitesi Ziraat Fakültesi Tarla Bitkileri Bölümü, İzmir/Türkiye'de gerçekleştirilmiştir.
