The transmedia approach to archive images in contemporary space invites spectators to effectively\xc2\xa0interfere in the historical narrative\xe2\x80\x94as a real-time scriptwriter and editor. In this article we introduce a\xc2\xa0transmedia documentary project, Hist\xc3\xb3ria(s) do Brasil (Anita Leandro and Marida Di Crosta). In so doing, we\xc2\xa0revisit and expand an unfinished pedagogical project by 1970s filmmaker Glauber Rocha. Based on the\xc2\xa0analysis of current experiences like the European interactive cross-media documentaries like Farewell\xc2\xa0Comrades!, our study focus on how transmedia can benefit an intercultural television tie-in archive-based\xc2\xa0documentary
