The paper present a study on alloys of the Al-Mg system (5–6 wt%) strengthened with nonmetallic nano- and microparticles such as nanodiamond, TiB2 and their combination. The introduction of nonmetallic particles into the Al-Mg melt was carried out using master-alloys, a mechanical mixer and simultaneous ultrasonic treatment of the melt. In addition, when casting into the chill mold, the melt was subjected to vibration treatment before solidification. The castings obtained were transformed into sheets with a thickness of up to 10 mm by hot rolling.
