Add to ORKGThe aim of the study is to determine the role of news programs in Al-Aqsa satellite channel in promoting political awareness about Palestinian issues among Palestinian youth in Lebanon. This research is a descriptive research that seeks to identify the role of the news programs in promoting certain concepts to a certain segment of the Palestinian society. Using the random sample selection method, surveys were distributed to 400 Palestinians, aged between 18 and 35, that live in the Palestinian refugee camps across Lebanon. The results show that 66% of the surveyed Palestinian youth in Lebanon watch the news programs in the Al-Aqsa TV channel.
