This study aimed at investigating the effect of using analogies on modifying alternative concepts in chemistry among 11th graders. The study sample was a convenient sample and it consisted of (54) female students in the 11th grade. The sample was divided into 2 groups: an experimental group and a control group. The experimental group consisted of (27) students and were taught through applying analogy strategy in teaching, the control group consisted of (27) students taught using the traditional teaching method.
