WOS: 000254709400011This experiment was carried out to determine the nutrient contents and metabolizable energy (ME) levels of some plant origin feedstuffs produced in Kirikkale Region. Some grains and by-products including corn, barley, wheat, screening wheat, vetch, chickling vetch, wheat bran, selector leftover wheat were used in this experiment. In this study dry matter, crude protein, ether extract, crude ash and nitrogen free extract levels of feed samples were determined by Weende Analysis methods and crude fiber levels by Crampton and Maynard's method. The equations developed by Carpenter and Clegg was used to calculate the ME values of feeds for poultry and the equation by Turkish Standard Institute was used to calculate the ME val...
