Diagnóstico situacional para Identificar los Posibles problemas Turísticos en el Cantón Saquisilí.

In the Cotopaxi province is Saquisilí Canton, a privileged place of natural landscapes, culture, religious festivals, traditions and friendly people. Therefore, we have taken into account the information on the subject. Initially, bibliographic information was collected, such as the Development and Territorial Planning Plan (2014-2019) and the Catastro of attractions and tourist facilities; interviews were also published with the key actors to the different elements of the tourism system such as infrastructure, superstructure and structure. As a result, the rural sector has a deficit in basic services. It is processed after identifying the problems in the socio-cultural, environmental and tourism areas through the PESTLA matrix, which allows analyzing the political, economic, social, technological, legal and environmental factors oriented to tourism. The main problems have been limited to the budget for the execution of tourism projects; The lack of supporting in rural parishes by MINTUR and environmental pollution caused by poor management of solid and liquid waste; also due to the lack of environmental awareness on the part of the inhabitants and tourists who visit the Canton. With respect to sports do not have a signaling nor with a dissemination and promotion of them. The authorities of the GAD municipal services work in the rural sectors, since there is a priority in the urban sector, working together with the parishes to promote tourism and improve the inhabitants life qualityEn la provincia de Cotopaxi se encuentra situado el cantón Saquisilí, un lugar privilegiado de bellos paisajes naturales, cultura, fiestas religiosas, tradiciones y gente amable. Por ello se llevó a cabo la presente investigación cuyo objetivo es obtener el diagnóstico situacional del cantón Saquisilí mediante técnicas e instrumentos que permitieron la identificación de los posibles problemas turísticos. Inicialmente se recopiló información bibliográfica de fuentes como el Plan de desarrollo y ordenamiento territorial (2014-2019) y el Catastro de atractivos y planta turística; asimismo por medio de fuentes primarias se realizó entrevistas a los actores clave permitiendo el análisis del ámbito socio-cultural, ambiental y turístico. Dando como resultado que el sector rural tiene déficit de los servicios básicos. Se procedió después a identificar los problemas en los ámbitos socio-cultural, ambientales y turísticos mediante la matriz PESTLA, la cual permite analizar los factores políticos, económicos, sociales, tecnológicos, legales y ambientales orientados al turismo. Los principales problemas identificados fueron la limitante de presupuesto para la ejecución de proyectos turísticos; la falta de apoyo en las parroquias rurales por parte del MINTUR y la contaminación ambiental ocasionada por el mal manejo de los desechos sólidos y líquidos; también por la falta de conciencia ambiental por parte de los habitantes y turistas que visitan el cantón. Con respecto a los atractivos no cuentan con señalización ni tampoco con una difusión y promoción de los mismos. Las autoridades del GAD Municipal deberían trabajar en los sectores rurales, ya que existe mayor prioridad en el sector urbano, igualmente trabajar en conjunto con las parroquias para potencializar el turismo y mejorar la calidad de vida de los pobladores
