Análisis de la Planta Turística Oferta Agencias de Viajes de la Provincia de Cotopaxi

The main objective of this research is to analyze the tourist facility, offering travel agencies through the collection of information, in order to have an updated and characterized record of the existing establishments. For the execution of the project, a diagnosis of the current situation of the Cotopaxi province was carried out, through the collection of information in secondary sources, being the Plan of Development and Land Management of Cotopaxi, Ministry of Tourism and the National Institute of Statistics and Censuses the most important, because it allowed to know demographic, social, cultural data such as: its festivities, typical dishes, cultural and natural attractions that each canton has also detailed the economically active and the inactive population. An inventory was made of the establishments of travel agencies, in which a card was designed based on the tourism products contemplated in the PLANDETUR 2020, for the recognition of the existing and functioning establishments within each canton: where there is general data , type of agencies, infrastructure and equipment, products and services, through field research the information gathering was developed for each canton, since an on-site visit was carried out in which it was analyzed that there are 20 tourist establishments among International Agencies, operators and dual located in the three cantons that are: Latacunga, Salcedo and La Maná the same that offer various products and services, the Latacunga canton meets the necessary conditions for the arrival of several tourists that is why it has more travel agencies, being the operators those that have greater representativeness. A catalog was designed through the systematization of information in which the most relevant information of travel agencies is described by cantons with their most offered products and services. It consists of 15 pages with letters and visible images which serves as a source of information consultation associated with the tourist plant offer Travel agencies. This project recommends tracking the number of travel agency establishments since each year can increase or decrease the influx of both national and foreign visitors since some cases the agencies are closed.La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar la planta turística, oferta agencias de viajes a través de la recopilación de información, con el fin de contar con un registro actualizado y caracterizado de los establecimientos existentes. Para la ejecución del proyecto se realizó en primer lugar un diagnóstico de la situación actual de la provincia de Cotopaxi, mediante la recopilación de información en fuentes secundarias siendo el Plan De Desarrollo y Ordenamiento Territorial de Cotopaxi, Ministerio de Turismo y el Instituto Nacional de Estadísticas y Censos los más importantes, pues permitió conocer datos demográficos, sociales ,culturales como: sus festividades, platos típicos, atractivos culturales y naturales que tiene cada cantón también se detalla la población económicamente activa y la inactiva. Se realizó un inventario de los establecimientos de agencias de viajes, en la cual se diseñó una ficha basada en los productos turísticos contemplados en el PLANDETUR 2020, para el reconocimiento de los establecimientos existentes y en funcionamiento dentro de cada cantón: donde consta de datos generales, tipo de agencias, infraestructura y equipamiento, productos y servicios, mediante la investigación de campo se desarrolló el levantamiento de información por cada cantón pues se realizó una visita in situ en la que se analizó que existe 20 establecimientos turísticos entre Agencias Internacionales, operadoras y duales localizados en los tres cantones que son: Latacunga, Salcedo y La Maná los mismos que ofrecen varios productos y servicios, el cantón Latacunga reúne las condiciones necesarias para que exista la llegada de varios turistas es por eso que cuenta con más agencias de viajes, siendo las operadoras los que tienen mayor representatividad. Se diseñó un catálogo a través de la sistematización de información en la que se describe la información más relevante de las agencias de viajes por cantones con sus productos y servicios más ofertados, consta de 15 páginas con letras e imágenes visibles la cual sirve como fuente de consulta asociada a la planta turística oferta Agencias de viajes. El presente proyecto recomienda dar seguimiento al número de establecimientos de agencias de viajes ya que cada año pueden aumentar o disminuir la afluencia de visitantes tanto nacionales como extranjeros ya que algunos casos las agencias son cerradas
