PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA STORY BOX PUZZLE DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TEMATIK TEMA 2 DI KELAS III SEKOLAH DASAR

This research is motivated by the lack of use of concrete learning media that can be seen or held directly, making students less interested in the learning that is taking place. Therefore, in 3 class SD Muhammadiyah 08 Dau Malang really needs learning media. So that researchers need to develop media that can help the school in the learning process. Developing Story Box Puzzle media for thematic learning in grade III in elementary schools. In this study using the ADDIE model which includes 5 stages in its implementation, namely design, development, implementation, evaluation. In this study, data collection was carried out using direct observation, interviews and expert questionnaires on learning materials covering potentials and problems, data collection, product design, material validation, media validation, product testing. The data collection technique uses the results of observations, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive obtained from a product quality questionnaire (validation of material experts, media experts) in the form of quantitative data, then followed by quantitative descriptive techniques. The results of development research obtained a media validation percentage of 88% and a percentage of student responses after learning using Story Box Puzzle as much as 90% was interesting to apply to third grade students in elementary schools. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the Story Box Puzzle media is suitable for use as a learning medium for grade III students in elementary schools
