This research aims to reveal (1) the correlation between the mastery of cohesive devices and the narrative text writing skill; (2) the correlation between the mastery of text structures and the narrative text writing skill; and (3) the correlation between the mastery of cohesive devices and text structures and the narrative text writing skill of Grade 11 of Senior High Schools (SHSs) in Martapura. The type of this study is ex-post facto. The data were analysed using quantitavie descriptive analysis. The population was 377 of Grade 11 of four SHSs in Martapura.
