Depression in tuberculosis (TB) increases the risks of adverse health outcomes. However, little is known about depression in tuberculosis patients in Malaysia. The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence and associated factors of depression in tuberculosis patients in primary care clinics. A cross-sectional study was adapted for this study. A total of 235 TB patients were recruited in six primary care clinics in the district of Kuching, Sarawak in Malaysia using convenience sampling method.
