CONSULTA DE ENFERMERÍA PEDIATRICA PARA LA NIÑEZ Y ADOLESCENCIA CON ASMA DE ESPARZA

This article is a product of a project that arises before the need of the paediatric asthmatic population to have control and follow-up on your disease, of little information that the progenitors of the asthmatic population possess, besides the high effect of consultations of morbidity because of the asthma. The general objective was to develop the consultation of attention of paediatric nursing for boys, girls and teenagers with asthma, in Esparza, in 2006. For the project 24 persons were included by ages of 2-12 years, 11 weeks of attention. It was offered to them attention holisticbased on four dimensions of the health. The services are directed to give advising, education, support in order to increase the knowledge’s on asthma and to modify actions or aptitudes harmful to the respiratory health. Family put down the stress recognized the symptom’s attack. For the institution it represented decrease in the consultations of morbidity for asthma and disposition of quotas for the service of urgencies. A qualitative change was achieved in conducts and family habits, modifying the environment of positive way for the respiratory health. The parents said, to feel more support, more safety in the managing of future crisis, the suitable administration of the treatments improved the adherence and the paediatric population to take part of its autocare.Este artículo es producto de un proyecto que surge ante la necesidad de la población pediátrica asmática de tener control y seguimiento sobre su enfermedad, de la poca información que los progenitores de la población asmática poseen, además de la alta incidencia de consultas de morbilidad a causa del asma. El objetivo general planteado fue desarrollar la consulta de atención de enfermería pediátrica para niños, niñas y adolescentes con asma, en Esparza, en el 2006. Para el proyecto se incluyeron 24 personas con edades de 2-12 años, 11 semanas de atención. Se brindo atención holística basada en las cuatro dimensiones de la salud. Los servicios están encaminados a dar asesoría, educación, apoyo con el fin de aumentar los conocimientos sobre asma y modificar acciones u aptitudes perjudiciales para la salud respiratoria. La población se beneficio, evitando reconsultar por asma. La familia minimizó la ansiedad que genera el no reconocer los síntomas de un ataque inminente. Para la institución representó descenso en las consultas de morbilidad por asma y disposición de cupos para el servicio de urgencias. Se logró un cambio cualitativo en conductas y hábitos familiares, modificando el entorno de manera positiva para la salud respiratoria. Las familias refirieron sentir más apoyo, más seguridad en el manejo de futuras crisis, la administración adecuada de los tratamientos mejoró la adherencia y la población pediátrica participo de su autocuidado
