The objective of the study is to find out whether there is any significant difference in the writing ability among the seventh grade students of SMP Muhammadiyah 1Mlati who are taugh using Power Point as media and those who are not in the academic year of 2012/2013. This study involved 58 studentswho were divided into two group: class V11A (29 students) as the experimental groups, and class V11B (29 students) as the control groups.
