PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS VIDEO ANIMASI PADA MATA PELAJARAN MEKANIKA TEKNIK DI SMK NEGERI 1 PURWOREJO

The purpose of this study was designed to: (1) develop an animated video based instructional media in mechanical of engineering of the truss system, (2) determine the feasibility of the developed instructional media, (3) determine the thoroughness of student learning outcomes of the truss system and (4) determine whether the products can increase student interest. This study is a model of development which refers to the development of 4D (four-D) model Thiagarajan which includes four stages, they are define, design, develop, and disseminate. The instrument used in this study are questionnaire and test questions. The questionnaire used in the expert validation and assessment of student learning interest, while the test questions used in the assessment of student learning outcomes. The results of the development of instructional media are known that: (1) product of the media which is developed is decent to used in SMK Negeri 1 Purworejo. (2) the feasibility of the product based on the validation of material experts is 74%, including criteria for "worthy" to be used, while based validation of media experts is 82.5%, including criteria for "highly feasible" to be used. (3) the result of test on students is 79.41%, including criteria for "high", the result of the first exercise is 77.27%, including criteria for "high", the result of the second exercise is 79.31%, including criteria for "high", and the result of final test is 89.66%, including the criteria of "very high". (4) media that is produced can increase students interest around 20,70% after using the media which is developed. Key words: learning media, animation video, mechanical of engineering, truss system
