In this study, “nanolacke ultraviolet (UV) varnish,” developed by a Turkish dyeing and varnish company and widely accepted as a 21st century technology, has been compared to other conventional varnish types that are widely used in the industry in order to compare the dry film resistance properties of the varnishes. In this study, cellulosic, polyurethane, polyester, synthetic, and nanolacke ultraviolet varnishes were applied to beech (Fagus orientalis L.) and oak (Quercus robur L.) wood samples that had been prepared according to industry standards.
