The sand mines at Gumulong Tonggoh in Cirebon Regency use an open mining system. Open mining activities can cause environmental damage and economic losses. The present investigation was carried out to analyze the economic valuation of environmental damage due to sand mine in Gumulung Tonggoh, Cirebon District, West Java Province, Indonesia. The sampling method and environmental damage analysis use purposive sampling. Data of laboratory tests of soil physical, chemical and biological properties was analyzed by statistical tests.
