This research aims to find out about the interconnectedness of social capital with the continuity of efforts in the area of Emergency Market Traders Klewer Surakarta. The teory used in this research is the the teory of social action from Max Webber and Embededness teory of Mark Granovetter. This research is qualitative research using the case study method. The case study was selected because it suitable for researching contemporary phenomenon in real life, case that have limits clearly.The process of data collection is carried out by several techniques, observation, interviews, and a review of documentation related to this research. The author uses the technique of sampling, purposive sampling so that the samples taken are truly representative and find out exactly what the author needs. Informants in this study is Himpunan Pedagang Pasar Klewer Surakarta, Traders, Suppliers, and customers. To ensure the validity of data used triangulation source, while the data analysis used are interactive mode. The results showed that both directly and indirectly, there is a link between social capital and the business continuity Market merchants Klewer Emergency. It can be seen that traditional values is a spirit driving activities trading in the Klewer market. Although trade is a must to seek profits, but seller can not simply let go of the social capital that is already attached to a long time between personal networking on all elements in the Klewer market social capital that consists of network participation, resiprocity, trus, social norms, values and proactive actions to affect the continuity of capital, human resources and continuity marketing merchants.
