KAJIAN EKSTRAK DAUN BINTARO (CERBERA ODOLLAM GAERTN.) SEBAGAI PESTISIDA NABATI ULAT DAUN KUBIS

Decline production of vegetables especially group of brassicaceae caused by pests such as Diamondback moth larvae (Plutella xylostella L.). Lost yield caused by diamondback moth larvae between 58%-95%. This research aims to study the effect of leaf extract pong-pong tree against diamondback moth larvae. This research used experimental design Randomized Complete Block Design (RCBD) with one factor is a leaf extract pong-pong tree with every block tested in different time. Variable observation such as percentage of mortality, eat ability, damage of feed, and percentage of pupae. The highest mortality of P. xylostella contained in leaf extract pong-pong tree concentration of 1,5% and 3,0% in the amount of 86,11%. Leaf extract pong-pong tree are most effective at concentrations of 3,0% with the highest mortality rate is 86,11%, with the rate of change into pupae smallest 5%, 33,33% and the level of damage and the ability to eat at 0,84 g
