When adhesively bonding Al/CFRP Single Lap Joint, a good bond performance both on the strength and stiffness is important for CFRP bonded with aluminum structures. The objectives of the research were to: Investigate the effect of starting time to pressure and Al powder content to shear strength of Al/CFRP Single lap joints with Al/epoxy adhesive; Observe the fracture characteristics Al/CFRP SLJs with Al powder/epoxy adhesive by using macro-photograph and SEM.
