EVALUASI KINERJA SIMPANG TAK BERSINYAL GABUGAN KABUPATEN SRAGEN

ABSTRACT AS’AD KAMALUDIN, 2015, " Performance Evaluation Unsignalized Intersection Gabugan Sragen City" Sragen City traffic volume has increased every year caused by the increasing number of vehicle ownership. Congestion at the intersection Gabugan is one of the effects of the high traffic growth and traffic systems are not functioning well. By considering the condition of the road geometry, traffic flow volume, and the intersection of side friction which is the commercial, then try to cope with the management intersections using intersection management unsignalized and signalized intersection. The way the research is to conduct a survey in the field to obtain primary data and secondary data which will then be processed using the reference Manual Kapasitas Jalan Indonesia (MKJI) 1997 and Microsoft Excel 2007 for process data traffic. Hotspot for intersection was used USIG USIG-1 and-2, while the intersection unsignalized using REVIEW (MKJI 1997). From the analysis it can be concluded that the intersection Gabugan degree of saturation value (DS) = 1,15 according to the computations intersection unsignalized was suggested by MKJI 1997. Therefore alternative then performed with the use of traffic lights produce the highest degree of saturation of 0.81 in the East and the approach of 0.75 for South approach, so the installation of traffic lights is the best alternative to solve the problem of congestion at the intersection Gabugan.
