ASUHAN KEBIDANAN BAYI SAKIT PADA ANAK B UMUR 6 BULAN DENGAN CAMPAK DI PUSKESMAS GAJAHAN

ABSTRACT Erza Husna. R0311016. Midwifery Care of Infant on M, Aged 6 Months with Measles at Community Health Center of Gajahan, Surakarta. The Study Program of Diploma III in Midwifery Science, the Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret University, Surakarta, June 2014. Background: The death rate of the infant in Central Java reached 11.85/1000. 7.7% of them were caused by measles. Objective: The objective of this research is to study and understand the midwifery care of the infant with measles at Community Health Center comprehensively. Method: This research used the observational descriptive research method with the case study approach. The subject of the research was the infant with measles. The place of the research was Gajahan Community Health Center. The data of the research were gathered through in-depth interview, direct observation, and content analysis on the medical record. The data were analyzed descriptively based on the seven measures claimed by Varney. Result: The mother states that her infant has a fever for three days and there are rashes on the body. The infant's body temperature is 38.5˚C, and is inspected to have rashes in the infant's body. The patient is given ½x500mg calc, 1x100,000IU vitamin A, 120mg paracetamol 1 teaspoon every 4 hours, and 1x4mg CTM. At the end of the care, the general condition of the infant is better, as indicated by the fact that there is no fever and the rash started to darken. There is a gap between the theory and practice in which a laboratory examination is not carried out. Conclusion: The infant M, aged 6 moths with measles gets calc ½x500mg, vitamin A 1x100,000IU, paracetamol 120mg 1 teaspoon every 4 hours, and CTM 1x4mg, the infant's general condition gets better, and the rashes started to darken.
