his thesis targets the evalution of different set of sensors and state-of-the-art algorithms in real world scenarios, in the context of 3D Simultaneous Localization and Mapping. For this purpose, the company Blue Ocean Robotics has provided its facilities, its robots and its sensors in order to record different datasets to carry out the evaluation. The objective of the project is to be able to choose which of the different algorithms used is the one that best adapts to the different situations and complications that can occur in the robot’s path. Also, different sensors are evaluated to see if one of them can have an optimal performance, or maybe with a combination of them
