In this project, we have built a simulator that replicates the spread of a coronavirus-like infectious disease, with the aim of making an educational, user-friendly application that allows people to learn the basics of infectious diseases and confinement measures. We also show that higher population densities lead to greater and faster virus propagation, that quarantines are only effective at reducing the spread of the virus when applied to a high percentage of new infected cases, and that confinement measures are an effective solution to contain the spread of a virus.2019/202
