PENERAPAN MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR RENANG GAYA BEBAS PADA SISWA KELAS X MA SMK NEGERI 2 KARANGANYAR TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

The aim of this research is to know about: increase the result study of front crawl at the X MA grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar in 2013/2014 Academic Year, in applying the audio visual teaching learning media. This research is a classroom action research (CAR). The research was carried out in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subject of this research is X MA students of SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar 2013/2014 Academic Year, totally 36 students, 36 male students. The sources of the data came from teacher and students. The techniques of collecting data were test, observation, and documentation or archives. The data validity technique used triangulation data. The technique of analyzing data that used in this research is descriptive comparative, which compare the quantitative data from the pre- cycle condition, cycle I and cycle II with percentage. From the analysis result, there was significant improvement from pre-cycle to cycle I and from cycle I to cycle II. This matter seen from result demonstration test from pre- cycle study, from students amount counted 36 complete student amount to 6 student (16,66%) and which not yet ever been complete 30 student (83,33%). Mounting at cycle I become 26 complete student (72,22%) and 10 student not yet ever been complete (27,78%). Till end of its at cycle II 31 complete student (86,11%) and 5 student not yet ever been complete (13,89%). Increase occoured in cycle I and cycle II. Learning front crawl has hit the target to be achieved in cycle II even exceed the target thoughnot all students can pass the material front crawl. The conclusion of this research is audio visual teaching learning media improves the result study of front crawl at the X MA grade students of SMK Negeri 2 Karanganyar 2013/2014 Academic Year.
