El presente estudio revisa nueve publicaciones relacionadas con la aplicación de intervenciones basadas en realidad aumentada (RA) a personas con discapacidad intelectual (DI). Las líneas de investigación desarrolladas se centraron en las áreas de educación, autonomía personal y promoción de la salud. Los estudios son marcos teóricos, diseño de aplicaciones basadas en RA o diseños de estudios cuasiexperimentales sin grupo de control. Las muestras, todas de menos de 15 sujetos, han sido elegidas bajo criterios intencionales.
