STRATEGI PENGEMBANGAN KOMODITAS PERTANIAN UNGGULAN Dl KECAMATAN KALITIDU KABUPATEN BOJONEGORO

This study aims to identify the classification of agricultural commodities in Kalitidu Subdistrict, Bojonegoro Regency and formulate alternative development strategy of pre-eminent agricultural commodities in Kalitidu Subdistrict Bojonegoro Regency. The basic method used in this research is analytical descriptive method. Data used in this study are primary and secondary data. Data analysis methods used are (1) Klassen Typology analysis to determine the classification of agricultural commodities and (2) SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors and alternative strategies in the development of pre eminent agricultural commodities. Results of research using a Klassen Typology shows that classification of agricultural commodities in Kalitidu Subdistrict Bojonegoro regency consisting of four classifications of commodities, namely primary commodities is com ; potential commodities are rice, chicken, egg duck ; commodities grown are cassava, green bean, coconut and retarded commodities are soybeans, chilli, cows, broiler chicken, Virginia tobacco, goat, peanut, and sheep. Alternative strategies for commodity corn is an optimal utilization of government support, the expansion of the marketing area of com, optimization com farm management, anticipating competition corn refined products market, the appropriate use of maize seed, optimizing the use of information technology to support the marketing of com, optimizing anticipating flooding and improve the trading system of com production facilities
