PENGARUH SUPLEMENTASI MOLASES PADA ENSILASE RUMPUT ODOT (P. Purperium cv. Mott) TERHADAP KANDUNGAN BAHAN KERING DAN BAHAN ORGANIK

This study aims to determine the effect of different levels of molasses supplementation in each treatment of the dry matter and organic matter content of mott elephant grass (P. Purpureum cv. Mott). This research was conducted for 28 days, using mini elephant grass which has been withered as much as 4 kg with a total of 40 samples to 100 grams / sample. The level of molasses given at each treatment were P0: mott elephant grass control, P1: mott elephant grass + 50 µ Lactic Acid Bacteria, P2: mott elephant grass + 50 µ Lactic Acid Bacteria + 1% molasses, P3: mott elephant grass + 50 µ Lactic Acid Bacteria + 2% molasses, P3: mott elephant grass + 50 µ Lactic Acid Bacteria + 3% molasses. Each treatment was repeated 4 times so as many as 20 experimental samples were obtained. Determination of the content of dry matter and organic matter in this study used a proximate test. The design used in this study is (Complete Randomized Design). Differences between treatments of variance analysis. Based on the results of the study the use of molasses as Lactic Acid Bacteria supplementation had an insignificant different effect on the percentage value of dry matter and organic matter content in mott elephant grass silage. The conclusion of this research is the level of supplementation of 1-3% molasses produces the same nutrients, dry matter and organic matter, in making mott elephant grass
