The aim of this research was to evaluate the efficiency of photocatalysis using a continuous-flow reactor with immobilised TiO2 on glass tubes and a UV-A light. The effect of flow rate and hydrogen peroxide addition on the efficiency of cyanotoxin removal (microcystin-LR and cylindrospermopsin) were evaluated. Photocatalysis experiments were conducted in a lab-scale flow-through immobilised photocatalytic reactor, equipped with four UV-A lamps in an illumination box. The quantification of microcystin-LR and cylindrospermopsin was performed by high-performance liquid chromatography, using a Waters Alliance 2695 solvent delivery system.
