Design for social sustainability. An educational approach for insular communities

This paper reports the study on three design for social sustainability projects, evolved through action research, and aims to understand and reflect on how to define an educational model able to prepare future designers living in the context of a small and peripheral territory like an island, to be active and entrepreneurial for the good of their society.
