International audienceThanks to an educational background during a PhD experience in geography, we propose a focus on the benefits and the limits of the interdisciplinarity. The dissertation traces the socio-political origins of ecological continuity of rivers: we analyse how the construction and the development and implementation of the policy of the ecological continuity combined science and politics.
