International audienceAn assessment on the evolution of the forms of domestic architecture identified in the Auvergne region between the 5th and the 3rd millenium B.C. is proposed. It concerns in particular domestic habitats within their territory. The recurrences and particularities which characterize these settlements reflect several observations : If the architectural forms vary and evolve from one period to another, they relate mainly to buildings supported by oak posts.
