Background. Actinomycetes is a group of microorganisms producing many kinds of active compounds. One of them is antibiotic. Objective. The purpose of this study is to determine the potency of Actinomycetes (isolate T34)as antibioticproducer against Staphylococcus aureus and to know the spot of thin layer chromatography showing activity as antibiotic based on bioautography test. Methods.
