Abstract

10 páginasHemangiosarcoma (HSA) also known as malignant hemangioendothelioma or angiosarcoma, is a malignant neoplasm that originates from the vascular endothelium. The most affected species is the dog, it represents 5% of primary tumors of non-cutaneous origin and 12-21% of mesequimal neoplasms. There is little literature on SAH arising from subcutaneous or intramuscular tissues, as well as its clinical signs and biological behavior. Its diagnosis is used through histopathology and the treatment of choice is surgery combined with chemother-apy.
