The study was conducted to assess role of motivation on employee work performance in Public organization based on the National Development Corporation as a case study. The study covered aspects of motivation, and work performance and relationship between motivation and employee performance in NDC. The study was descriptive covering a systematic sample of 30 respondents drawn NDC employees. Data collected through structured questionnaire was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical tools. The study found out that the organization uses many different tools to motivate its employees. These include; provision of fringe benefits, paying bonuses to workers who put in extra effort, giving a sense of responsibility, promotion of cons...
