Asia/Pacific Microwave Conference -- DEC 03-06, 2001 -- TAIPEI, TAIWANWOS: 000177768600264A novel coplanar stripline (CPS) open-loop resonator (OLR) is proposed for maximum miniaturization in uniplanar microwave applications. The effect of variation in the one's width of longer strips of OLR formed in two ways (namely, CPS fixed gap (FG) and CPS variable gap (VG) OLR) on their resonance characteristics is discussed.
