This study is on assessment of heads of schools’ strategies in managing conflicts in secondary schools. Study objectives were: to examine the heads of school knowledge and skills in managing conflicts in secondary schools, strategies employed by head of school in managing school conflicts, To assess the effectiveness of strategies used by the heads of schools in managing conflicts and challenges they face in applying the strategies in conflict management, and to suggest measures that could be taken to avoiding future conflicts in schools.
