Pakistan Afghanistan Relation & Regional Stability Scenario

With a long history of cultural and ethnic linkages, it is an undeniable fact that Pakistan Afghanistan relations must be strengthened for long term stability and prosperity for the sake of regional peace and progress. This objective is being achieved through political and diplomatic channels, but there is still much room for informal exchange between the peoples of the two countries, in order to promote societal cooperation and to reinforce the historical bonds of friendship and mutual respect. The Community Appraisal and Motivation Programme (CAMP) held a conference on "Pakistan-Afghanistan Relations and the Regional Stability Scenario" at Islamabad on 27-28 March 2012. The objective of this Conference was to bring together the civil society of Pakistan and Afghanistan – including the media, former diplomats, human rights’ activists and others – to discuss common issues in an effort to document and highlight perspectives from both sides
