Die Arbeit befasst sich mit der kontinuierlich-adjungierten Form- und Topologieoptimierung von Klimatisierungskomponenten von Flugzeugen. Im Fokus steht die Anwendbarkeit der adjungierten Theorie auf die industrielle Praxis. Dies ist vor allem bezogen auf die Berechnung der Schrittweite im Gradientenverfahren, Anforderungen an das Design und die korrekte Berechnung des Gradienten aus der adjungierten Sensitivität. Die Ansätze werden implementiert und mit passenden fluiddynamischen Testfällen validiert und verifiziert.
