Dixon Hall, a three story dormitory at Jacksonville State College, was opened in September 1966. Named for Governor Frank Dixon, the residence hall accommodated 208 students to help alleviate the then housing shortage as enrollment increased. Shown is the view of the building from Forney Avenue. Crow Hall can be seen in the background. (circa September 12, 1966)https://digitalcommons.jsu.edu/lib-ac-histimg/9233/thumbnail.jp
