For chamber orchestra, duration 17 minutes. This piece was commissioned by the Michael Vyner Trust for the London Sinfonietta, for Oliver Knussen on his 50th Birthday. It was premiered at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, London, on 30 May 2006, and has since been performed by the Orchestra della Svizzera Italiana and Oberlin Conservatory Contemporary Music Ensemble.
